Beaches & permits
Required for people age 12+ from June 20 through September 7, 2026. Regular-season prices: daily $10, weekly $15, seasonal $25.
The city identifies oceanfront lots at Roosevelt Boulevard and 16th, 26th, 34th and 38th Streets. Seasonal and daily parking permits are separate from beach tags.
Designated drive-on beach access requires a city permit, matching license/registration/insurance and required safety equipment.
The city lists ADA-compliant beach mats at several access points including 10th Street North, Roosevelt Boulevard, 16th Street South, 26th and 34th Streets.

The no-fee municipal boat ramp is at 5th Street South and Bayshore Avenue; temporary closures can occur.
Atlantic City is minutes away
The Brigantine Bridge feeds directly into Atlantic City's Marina District. Visitors can stay on a quieter island while remaining close to casino resorts, large entertainment venues, the Boardwalk, convention activity and a much larger restaurant market.
Keep the destinations distinct: Atlantic City hotels and restaurants are not counted as Brigantine establishments on NJTGO. Use the Atlantic City guide when you want casino-resort or Boardwalk options.
